COVID-19

Our Responsibility

Our priority at OIL 2 ENERGY, LLC, as part of the vital infrastructure of the nation, is to protect our workers, contractors, and the communities we serve while fulfilling our obligation to provide the important fuels and other goods that keep the country going. By matching vital supplies to what they need and can handle, we help local communities, particularly those offering healthcare services, at the right time.

Pandemic Response Plan

For several years, OIL 2 ENERGY, LLC has had a pandemic response plan in place. We have revised and modified our plan since January, as the COVID-19 epidemic has spread, driven by global health experts such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, local health authorities, and state and federal governments. The policies of the organization have been revised to reflect the changing work climate and to meet the needs of our workers.

In the early stages of the pandemic, OIL 2 ENERGY, LLC reduced the staffing of its facilities to only necessary personnel and introduced remote work systems to minimize the risk of transmitting the virus, wherever feasible. In the event of disease-related disturbances, we developed business continuity strategies to meet staffing needs and collaborated with key suppliers to ensure continued support.

Back to Workplace Plan

More recently, a three-phase Back to Workplace Initiative (BTW) has been introduced by OIL 2 ENERGY, LLC to return all workers to the workplace over several weeks in an orderly and healthy way. By mid-September, up to 50 percent of workers will return from teleworking. Staff in other operational components and business units will return to their workplaces on a timeline dictated by business needs and subject to local conditions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

At all our facilities and offices, we will continue to ensure secure operations, with some security and preventive measures in place. In addition to supporting established employee personal hygiene habits, regular hand washing, cough, and sneezes-Other steps include social distancing, security face covers and enhanced PPE, visitor restrictions at our facilities, targeted travel restrictions, instructions for self-quarantine, extra procedures for cleaning and sanitization.

Employee communication

We continue to consult regularly with all staff about the dangers of COVID-19 and their obligation to protect themselves and others. We have also set up an internal website for employees with a variety of resources to access the most up-to-date and accurate information. A dedicated Threat Management Department tracks the latest developments and, as circumstances warrant, adapts our reaction to the situation regularly.

Community support

OIL 2 ENERGY, LLC deployed its entire stock of personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals, healthcare organizations, and its facilities throughout the country beginning on the week of March 15. In 25 states, over 520,000 N95 respirator masks were distributed to 46 hospitals and healthcare organizations.

The OIL 2 ENERGY, LLC Foundation has also contributed $500000 to the American Red Cross to help support the response of the relief organization to the COVID-19 pandemic, including providing food and shelter to those impacted by the pandemic's economic effects, while enforcing protocols to ensure the safety of workers, volunteers, and the customers they represent.

REQUESTS FOR DONATIONS OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

We acknowledge that healthcare organizations and hospitals also require private protective equipment supplies (PPE). However, at this time, we have dispersed and allocated our entire stock of PPE either to hospitals and healthcare organizations or to our facilities to protect our workers engaged in critical on-site work. We do not assume, at present, that we will be able to obtain additional supplies.

However, in case more supplies become available and we are willing to satisfy requests, we continue to control all PPE requests.

Please notice that we will give an automated response that your request has been received by us. This receipt does NOT mean or ensure that we will satisfy the order.

We deeply appreciate the sacrifices made during this difficult period by those who are delivering vital services to our communities.
